Local Practice:
Werznu (garlic) is a perennial, strong smelling, bulbous herb, the underground portions of which consist of a compound bulb. The fresh leaves and the bulb are collected, cleaned, crushed and mixed with kali (soup) and is given to the patient of Karpashang (running/streaming nose). It is considered very effective against all other symptoms resulting from yor chokique (sunstroke), as well as for garmi (fever) and coughs.
